Exploring new ways to integrate Lac in the kitchen while experimenting with taste and textures.
In this collaboration we tried to implement taste in Lac, our experimentation were not successful so far. The Texture of the material is a bit rough and not very pleasant to eat.
We are searching for ways to combine Lac with different foods in order to give a pleasant eating experience.
Meanwhile we are also looking for interesting ways to integrate it in the dish not as an eatable part, but to use its qualities as a vassal that can brake, reshape and eventually degrade.
Made by insects invites people from different backgrounds and minds to explore together techniques in Lac, using their craft and skills they contribute to the research.
